25/05/2020. Today is Africa Day! This annual event (which celebrates the anniversary of the foundation of the Organisation of African Unity) inspires us all to consider the importance of African cultures at home and throughout the diaspora, to recognise how far many African nations have come since achieving independence and to consider the ground that still needs covering. Of course, language and education play a huge part in any such development.
